What is surface mode and air mode in courier? 

Their names reflect their answer, surface means via road through trucks while air mode courier means via Airplane courier. Air mode courier also known as premium/priority/urgent courier which less time to deliver in comparison to surface mode. But Air mode courier is high in price which will cost double-triple in charge than surface mode. We recommend asking the courier agent to ship through surface mode always, as it will be more affordable and value for money than air mode couriers. 

How to book a courier through offline mode. 

After finding the best suitable/nearest courier provider visit with a packed parcel. We suggest making the parcel tamper-proof, or you can buy the courier bag/box/envelope from the same center or any stationary shop. After packing first write the following consignee/receiver details: 

• Name
• Company name (Optional)
• Address
• Correct PIN code
• Contact number

Write your details / Sender's details in the same format below the consignee's details. If you have any confusion you can ask for help from the courier agent available at the center. 

Once you hand over the parcel, the agent will capture the weight of the package. And will ask the details such as product details and value. That's it, pay the amount after asking which mode of transport they use to ship your parcel, and take the receipt from the delivery agent.

You can see there is a number mentioned on the receipt which will be used to track the same parcel through the same courier's tracking page. 

You can send the tracking number and receipt picture to the consignee/receiver so that they track the parcel smoothly. 

 

How to find the nearest courier hub of Delhivery, Ekart, DTDC, BlueDart Etc. 

Finding the nearest hub to ship a parcel is a snap job. Just search courier provider name + your PIN code in Google Maps. For example, if you live in Delhi and your pin code is 110001 and you want to the nearest DTDC courier hub/ center, you will search "DTDC 110001" on Google Maps, make sure your location is On from the settings.

 Google Maps will show the nearest DTDC hub to search PIN code. The same can be done from another courier like Ekart, Delhivery, Bluetadr, etc.
